DHYANA | ESSENCE OF BEING COLLECTION
“Dhyāna | Essence of Being collection” is a collection of musical compositions that encapsulate my journey through meditation and yoga, practices that have been the foundation of my life for many years.
The term “Dhyāna”, derived from Sanskrit, means “Vision”, but is normally translated as “meditation and contemplation”. In Hinduism, it represents a profound state of meditative absorption, serving as a means to self-knowledge and spiritual awakening.
The collection comprises four pieces that I have composed and performed: “Fortitude,” “Faith,” “Thoughtfulness,” “Love.”
These words came to me during a meditation long ago and have since become my personal mantram.
In Devanagari (an ancient Indian alphabet from which Sanskrit also derives), a mantram is a sacred utterance, a sound, word, or group of words, believed to have spiritual power.
Each composition in “Dhyāna| Essence of Being collection” embodies the essence of its title, aiming to evoke the corresponding qualities within the listener.
Through this musical exploration, I aspire to share the transformative energy these mantras have imparted to me, hoping they resonate with and inspire all who embark on this journey.
