Layered cement mixture on canvas, gold-tinted with acrylic paint and gold pigments; central texture hand-carved into the cement
40 × 120 cm

Technique:
Layered cement mixtures on canvas. The cement is gold-tinted with acrylic paint and gold pigments in varying proportions, producing brighter or softer reflections, and is deliberately worked with spatulas to create a wave-like effect. The central texture is hand-carved into the cement when it was almost solid but could still be incised.

Cement mixture on canvas; paper strips with layered vinyl adhesive; white cement elements cast on wooden beams, fixed with white silicone
40 × 120 cm

Technique:
A cement mixture is spread on canvas, then covered with paper strips coated in several layers of vinyl adhesive, each layer left to dry before the next.

Grey cement mixed with wallpaper adhesive, coloured with acrylics, hemp-cord impressions, on canvas
60 × 80 cm

Technique
Grey cement mixed with wallpaper adhesive, coloured with acrylics. The grid of furrows was impressed with hemp cords, removed afterwards; the vertical fissure is deliberate. Drying is managed with black or white sheeting, depending on the season, so the cement cures slowly and evenly.
